ACTIVATE  is a 6-month discipleship program for college graduates who want to grow in their faith, experience genuine community, serve others discover their God-given talents and calling. Through a series of workshops, experiential learning opportunities, missionary trips and possible internships, students will develop leadership and communication skills, motivation, persistence, integrity and discernment integral for mature, Christian leaders.


1. SELF-DISCOVERY

  • Self-Discovery and Discernment.

  • Discovering your identity, purpose, vocation. Identifying your skills and strengths. Discerning God’s call and purpose.

  • Grow in Grace and Knowledge (2 Pet 3:18), forming Christian character of a Christian and developing relational wisdom.

2. STUDY 

  • Develop Leadership Skills. Master effective leadership, people, resilience, and teamwork skills to be successful in graduate school and the 21st-century workplace

  • Grow in (Relational) Wisdom. As young adults, without a deep community we cannot grow in character and calling. God created us to grow in character and calling in community.

3. SERVE

• Serve in your church (outreach, youth meetings, etc.), community (homeless service, hospital visits, etc…) and throughout the world (missionary trips).

We are currently looking for 15 volunteers to engage in our groundbreaking ACTIVATE™ Discipleship Program. This opportunity will allow participants to learn critically important life and leadership skills to set them up for success.


Participants are expected to:

  • Be college graduates ages 20-25 years old.

  • Attend in person every Monday, from 5:30-8:30pm at ACTS campus in Newport Beach from November 6, 2023-April 22, 2024.

  • Attend two retreats (Nov 9-11, 2023 and January 20-21, 2024) and one missionary trip (June 2024, exact dates and locations to be announced soon)

  • Connect regularly with one assigned personal mentor that will be aligned with their career and/or service;

  • Reinvest their time in mentoring other students through the program upon completing the program; and

  • Continue to serve in various services and programs in parishes (youth meetings, servant meetings, Sunday school, etc.), ACTS (ACTS Kids, ACTS Press, Hymns Department), CED (Servants Certification, Sunday School Curriculum, YSC, Keraza, Bible Summer Camp), Youth Programs (Coptic Clubs, Summer Conventions, Coptic League, GYP etc.), and potentially other departments in the Diocese.

Those who do not continue to meet the above expect will be dropped from the program immediately. Apply now if interested. Limited spots are available. Only serious candidates will be considered. Qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview.


This program is worth at least $3,000. We have arranged scholarships for each of the students accepted in the program. However, we request $150 per month as your contribution.
