Servant Convention

First Annual Servant Convention

Under the auspices of His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion and His Grace Bishop Kyrillos, the Department of Christian Education invites you to the inaugural Diocese Servants Convention on August 30-September 1, 2025. This year we will be focusing on the leadership model presented in the life and teachings of St Athanasius the Apostolic. We will be blessed by the presence of His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion, His Grace Bishop Abraham, His Grace Bishop Kyrillos, and His Grace Bishop Basil, General Bishop serving in the Diocese of Southern United States. We are looking forward to benefiting spiritually together and enjoying Christ in fellowship with one another.

Registration Fees and Hotel Accommodations:

Registration is $225/person. However, if you are in need of a subsidy, that option is available on the registration page. Hotel accommodations are at the rate of $179/night. After registering for the Convention, you will receive a link in your email that has a direct access to the group rate for the hotel. You are responsible for booking your own accommodations, it is not included in the registration fee. 


Children's Program

For families that will be attending and bringing their children, there will be a dedicated children's program so that you may enjoy the lectures and workshops without interruption. 

Program Details

The Convention will include: 

  • Lectures on the life and teaching of St Athanasius the Apostolic

  • Workshops on Servant Leadership Training 

  • Exhibition for Servant Resources 

  • Orientation of Sunday School Curriculum and Modifications  

  • Overview of Newly Organized Servants Preparation Program for the Diocese and Servants’ Examination Process

  • Fellowship and Discussion Groups 

  • Spiritual, Interactive Program for Young Children

  • Servant Certificates (for those servants who have passed all parts of the exam)
